Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer

The novel Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer is one of the contemporary classics of all times.

The plot revolves around the feud between two powerful men in 20th century America- William Lowell Kane and Abel Rosnovski.

Being the powerful men their stubbornness and hatred for each other was on one hand. And on the other they were wrapped in a relentless struggle to build an empire by burning the midnight oil.

Their family background are different but their success and paths of glory have made them much stronger. Their diligence and hard work have made them not only powerful but also to outshine better in life.

William Lowell Kane was born into a wealthy family in Boston and Abel Rosnovski was abandoned at birth in a forest in Poland and raised by a poor family. Abel’s unbelievable escape to America and his struggles and miserable life led him to become more stronger despite facing the clutches of persecution and death.

It sounds admiring and heartbreaking while touring the world of Abel and most importantly to rise as one of the most successful businessman in 20th century.

The reason of hatred and stubbornness between them was lack of communication which ended up with rivalries.

Spanning over 60 years and three generations through war, marriage, fortune and disaster, Kane and Abel battle for the success and triumph that only one man can have.
