The novel Inferno written by Dan Brown delves into the life of an art History professor Robert Langdon at Harvard University. He is an American and he was somehow shot on his head and he was totally unaware how he came to Italy and was admitted in a hospital at Florence.The doctor discovered that he had mild Amnesia and that’s why he had hallucinations. He used to see a veil woman having silver coloured hair and she was standing in the red blood water surrounded by dead bodies. She was also whispering in his ears and said seek and ye shall find. This made him mentally disturbed a lot. Beyond that he wanted to know how he came to Italy and how he got admitted to Florence. One day there was a bullet firing in the hospital by the attackers and somehow Professor Robert Langdon was saved but the doctor Dr. Marconi was killed. Robert Langdon thought that were the attackers came to kill him also. Dr. Sienna Brooks always took good care of Robert Langdon and dealt with him very patiently. And finally that day came in Robert Langdon’s life when that silver haired woman came to her and revealed her secret that the lady which he used to see was Elizabeth. Sinskey the director of World Health Organization and she also knew that how he came to Italy and was admitted in a hospital in Florence.
